I Give Thanks in Rain or Shine

Thankful for the rain

As I stay inside today

Grateful for the closed door

Which directs me to discover a new way

Have faith in the unknown

As it creates surprises for you

Keep belief in the universe,

Which follows everything you do.

The windows serve their purpose

And welcome sunlight in the room

The grace of the day seeps peacefully through,

And only at night, must fight off the gloom.

Be grateful for this life,

And take its glory, dark and light.

Be careful and remember when you choose

That gifts are always within sight.
