Is it slacking when you don’t finish your daily list?
…Or just too much on the list to begin with?
I’ve decided that I put too much on my agenda because I continuously have trouble finishing daily lists.
If you aren’t bothered by incomplete daily lists or perhaps always finish yours, either way, feel free to share your thoughts.
I just had to do something to stop the ‘beat myself up’ attitude and complaining about my incomplete tasks. I became annoyed with this common theme I seemed to have.
I’ve been working on organizing my life for over a year now. I’ve progressed, but sometimes I’ve nagged myself to get more done, sometimes obsessively.
Last week one day seemed to fizzle away. I have to do better and get more done on my list …. was my first thought the following day.
Then, I decided to ease up on myself and believe even the most minor accomplishments were enough. I thought about this book I’ve read, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, and based my decision on the fourth agreement, my favorite, ‘Always do your best.’
The book gives you four agreements to make with yourself to change some of the learned beliefs to ones…
