Sticking with New Year’s Resolutions All Year…instead of fizzling out by February

I’m planning my New Year’s Resolution goals with a BANG!!

Here’s How:

I’ve created specific actions for my goals instead of vague ones.

First, here’s an original example of one of my goals:

One of my top 2023 Resolutions is to take my time much more than I have been lately. I tend to move along too quickly with unfavorable outcomes. For instance, I rush and might spill coffee or pasta sauce, to name a couple. 😂

Also, I’ve been late for appointments or barely on time. Nothing too drastic, but annoying results that need improvement.

But taking my time is rather a vague thought.

My specific action goal is:

‘I AM GOING TO MEDITATE EVERY DAY FOR PEACE AND CALMNESS’

instead of,

‘I’m going to wake up and take my time,’ or ‘I’m going to get up and be calmer than usual.’

The latter goals lack action and creativity. They’d probably fizzle out in a month or so, and I could be right back where I started. What I aim for is to add more calmness to my life and simultaneously add value and happiness.
